Pantry
The pantry was a key part of our house design. I wanted to be able to access both my pantry and laundry from the kitchen. I also wanted both to look good, not like an afterthought. So here is a look at the pantry. (The laundry is behind the door that you can see). You'll notice I've used wallpaper behind the open shelving. I keep all the tinned tomatoes and other staples in the cupboards and leave my pretty things on the open shelves. The benchtops are poured concrete, which I've also used in the kitchen. The poured concrete is one of my best picks. I love it. Sorry I haven't posted any photos of the kitchen yet as I've still got bits and pieces to complete.
PS. Finally, I've put Spots and Stripes on facebook!
About Spots and Stripes
When I began my third renovation, I swapped the corporate ladder for the rusty paint ladder and began my website and blog, Spots and Stripes, which chronicles the restoration of our 'Queenslander' in Brisbane. I'm also an interior editor helping clients to create a home which is not modern, nor traditional, rather it's interesting. For a home that is unlike any other, I can assist with the selection of lights, tiles, mirrors, wallpaper, paint, furniture and fabric.

Love a good walk in pantry, I have been planning to use wallpaper in mine too, negotiating with the kitchen installers over how they put the shelving in so it can be done. Yours looks lovely but we need more details, more pics please please please. I have a pantry the size of a shoebox at present so need to live vicariously through other pantries until mine arrives. mel x
Gorgeous and I love the corbels. What a statement.
