Bathroom
Here's a few pictures of the hardware I've chosen for the main bathroom. If you're looking for a bath, be aware there's a lot of styles and types to choose from. I chose this bath from Victoria and Albert, mainly because I liked the feet.
For the showerhead I prefer a gooseneck style, I just think they look elegant. The taps (below) have porcelein handles. These are made in Australia by Astra Walker.
Some people will suggest that you can buy your tapware on on-line as it's cheaper than in the shops. And that's probably true but there is a downside. Some friends ended up with taps that sound like a Mack Truck on a steep incline every time they turn the hot water on. Others have had handles that break or rust. As the cost of a plumber per hour is almost as much as a surgeon, I bought my taps from a real bricks and mortar store. I bought all my bathware from Winnings Appliances in the Valley. Kirsty from Winnings has been fantastic (even though I've changed my mind more than once).
This is the tile I"ll leaning towards, but I'll add a black border for extra punch. Have you bought any taps on-line?

About Spots and Stripes
When I began my third renovation, I swapped the corporate ladder for the rusty paint ladder and began my website and blog, Spots and Stripes, which chronicles the restoration of our 'Queenslander' in Brisbane. I'm also an interior editor helping clients to create a home which is not modern, nor traditional, rather it's interesting. For a home that is unlike any other, I can assist with the selection of lights, tiles, mirrors, wallpaper, paint, furniture and fabric.

Beautiful choices. The basket weave tile looks great too. And thanks for the shop recommendation too. xx
Nice Amber! We have the same porcelain taps. You must be so excited to see new changes each week. LovT
Love your basket weave tiles - lovely.
Don't get any taps made in China, my plumber brother warned me. I am lucky, as he gets quite a good tradies discount from Reece. So I got all my taps through him - the markup is terrifying when you see it.
I've chosen freestanding 'telephone' style tap for the claw foot bath. The plumber has asked me, if I'm really sure? Because the kids could knock it over. Here's hoping he's plumbed it in properly.
The showers and Tubs are really looking so good i know but they will look good if they work well with proper functioning and Proper Plumbing Fittings
A luxury home equipped with Designer tiles can simply be the ultimate desire one could ever have, home is your personal space where we can add all the things that we like or wish to have benefits of. However, when it comes to interior designing, everyone has their own choice and preference for mosaics, designer tiles, stone & tiles, etc. Glass tile backsplash
Thanks for the share. Great stuff, just nice!
