Boutique Hotel Paris

I've been dreaming of a holiday in Paris. I've even found the hotel where I'd stay. It's called La Maison Champs-Elysees. The interiors were decorated by fashion house Maison Martin Margiela. I love a cross-over between the fashion world and the interior design world.
This is one of the hotel rooms. I love the mix of traditional and modern details. Aren't the limewashed floors stunning? And I love a bentwood chair every day of the week.
I love how the rooms are white but with lots of trompe l'oeil on the walls and doors - it is Paris after all.
The foyer looks grand. I think the large mirrored wall on the left-hand side gives the impression of a bigger space.
The facade is perfectly French, right down to the pot plants. I've filed this hotel in my "must visit" file for Paris.

That hotel looks very elegant. It would surely be lovely to stay here in La Maison Champs-Elysees when you are traveling in Paris.

About Spots and Stripes

When I began my third renovation, I swapped the corporate ladder for the rusty paint ladder and began my website and blog, Spots and Stripes, which chronicles the restoration of our 'Queenslander' in Brisbane. I'm also an interior editor helping clients to create a customised home. Let me know if I assist you with the selection of lights, tiles, mirrors, wallpaper, paint, furniture and fabric.
