Tea Cake for Catherine
Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, smashed it out of the park when she met the Obamas recently. She wore a dress from her favourite UK chain store, Reiss. However, I feel as though she could do with some cake, as she's awfully thin at the moment.
Maybe she needs some of my apple crumble tea cake which I baked on Sunday. It was so cold on Sunday I decided to do a bake-off and made this cake, some cauliflower soup and a spaghetti bolognese (for the kids).
There wasn't much cake left after Mr Not-So-Handy discovered it. He has a very sweet tooth. I'm happy to share the recipe if you'd like to try it.
About Spots and Stripes
When I began my third renovation, I swapped the corporate ladder for the rusty paint ladder and began my website and blog, Spots and Stripes, which chronicles the restoration of our 'Queenslander' in Brisbane. I'm also an interior editor helping clients to create a customised home. Let me know if I assist you with the selection of lights, tiles, mirrors, wallpaper, paint, furniture and fabric.

That looks delicious! I'm feeling too cold today. I would not do well in Iceland. I'd be positively depressed.
