Colourful Shoes

These are my new fluro yellow sandals which I bought yesterday. Coco Rhubarb always likes to inspect any new shoes which come into the house. If she likes the shoes I get a lick of approval. But she seems a bit stunned at the colour of these. They are very bright. But remember, I am trying to 'live colour fully' this year. So I think these are a good start.
Oooooh a colourful dress and a stripe. Love Marc Jacobs!
Also, love the tangerine bag with the yellow dress. These colours look so happy together. Another winner from Marc Jacobs.
And some fluro coral sandals. Ok. I admit it. I bought two new pairs of fluro sandals. I know it seems extravagant to buy two pairs of shoes in one afternoon. But I have a very good excuse. They were on sale. And even better, they were cheap as chips. $15 per pair. I know it's hard to believe. I was expecting the sales girl to say there had been a mistake. But there wasn't!
So I feel very happy that I'm channeling Marc Jacobs but for a fraction of the price!

I love Coco Rhubarb's expression in both photos, the first in particular.
Wide eyed wonder would be one way to describe it.

PS Enjoy your happy feet!

yes, I agree, taking photos of your feet - you just have to do your toenails in a bright colour as well. The shoes are amazing!

You are definitely chanelling the colour with those toes and shoes. You have such young and happy feet - gorgeous - as is Coco Rhubarb!! She's adorable!
I've a friend with a big pineapple collection too. Not a blogger, but just north of Brisbane in a stunning house. (I must get some photos!) Always makes me think of you! Sonia x

Hi Sonia, I'm always surprised (and delighted) to hear that someone loves pineapples as much as myself. It makes me feel that I'm not the only person who likes a bit of kitsch. Please ask your friend to take a peak at my blog and possibly send a photo or two. x A

I will get some photos next time I visit. One particular pineapple looks like dark wood, but is actually made of a ceramic (quite heavy) she hauled back from Sth America... such is the love!

About Spots and Stripes

When I began my third renovation, I swapped the corporate ladder for the rusty paint ladder and began my website and blog, Spots and Stripes, which chronicles the restoration of our 'Queenslander' in Brisbane. I'm also an interior editor helping clients to create a home which is not modern, nor traditional, rather it's interesting. For a home that is unlike any other, I can assist with the selection of lights, tiles, mirrors, wallpaper, paint, furniture and fabric.
